Requirements for Joining the Army as a Captain:

Qualification: To apply, a recognized university degree is required, which can be an MS, MA, MSc, BS, or DVM.
Nationality: Applicants must hold Pakistani nationality. Those with domicile in AJK/Gilgit Baltistan are also eligible. Individuals with dual nationality must relinquish one nationality upon final selection.
Gender: Only male applicants will be considered.
Marital Status: Both married and unmarried individuals may apply.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit is set at 28 years.

Height: A male should have a height of 5′ Feet & 4″ Inches (162.5cm)
Weight: The weight should align with the body mass index.

How to Apply/Join:

All interested candidates must apply online via the website joinpakarmy.gov.pk or through the link provided below.Additionally, registration can be done at the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center.

The registration period is scheduled to start from December 08, 2025, to January 04, 2026.

Selection Process for Direct Service Commission Course 2026:

Academic and Intelligence tests based on multiple choice questions will be administered at AS&RCs on a date assigned by the computer during registration.

Following the Academic/Intelligence Test, candidates will undergo an initial medical examination at AS&RCs.

Candidates must meet the following physical standards at the time of preliminary selection:

1.6 Km Run in 9 minutes.

10 Push-Ups within 2 minutes.

10 Sit-Ups within 2 minutes.

2 Chin-Ups within 2 minutes.

Candidates selected by AS&RCs will be invited for an interview by the GHQ Selection Board in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. A medical examination will subsequently be conducted by CMH, and final selections will be determined by them.

Candidates must present original documents and certified copies of mark sheets, registration certificates, domicile documents, and six colored passport-size photographs at AR&SC.
